We have a great supplier for hand dyed fabrics called

Wichelts
quality fabrics in stock at Julie's Cross Stitch. We have also added The
Caron
Collection Waterlillies hand dyed, variegated floss to our store as
well. We are a seasoned store with lots of experience. We

Designer of the Month..
Mirabilia
patterns are designed by an artist named Nora Corbett
in Ohio. She creates original water color paintings and turns them
into cross stitch patterns. Her subjects are generally angels,
mermaids, queens, fairies, mothers and lovers along with timeless
women. Mirabilia is one of my favorite line of patterns. They are
generally quality pattern that often use beading and metallic
threads to highlight the design. I carry all of the Mirabilia
patterns that are available at Julie's X Stitch.
If you
are into collecting, Mirabilia makes a line of "Holiday Fairie" kits
that include fabric and all the supplies you will need to complete
the project including quality linen fabric. She also has a line of
"Christmas Trees" every year for Christmas that include all the
beads and treasures you will need to complete the piece.

In our cross-stitch
tips section you will learn how to cross stitch, read some history about cross stitch, find
help choosing a pattern or a kit, learn about the different
kinds of cross stitch fabric to choose from, and read about
several of the many designer of cross stitch patterns. We have
recently added a Needlepoint Tips section to our website. You will
learn about the different types of canvas used for needlepoint and the
basic stitches used. Julie is
also happy to answer any cross stitching or needlepoint questions you may have. Just send her an e-mail.
We have recently added a new area to Julie's X Stitch called
Free
Patterns. There will be a new free pattern available every few months.
If you choose, you can purchase all of the supplies to go with the
pattern in a kit form as well. Our newest pattern is a "Home
Sweet Home".
