Mill Hill kits are a nice size and a great price. You can finish a kit in just a few weeks. Each cross stitch or beading kit comes with all the supplies you will need to complete the project, except the frame.

There are just a few days left to get Heaven and Earth Cross Stitch patterns for 20% (or more) off at Julie’s Cross Stitch. The sale ends the last day of March. New Dimensions Cross stitch kits
There are a few new counted cross stitch kits out by Dimensions Crafts. My favorite would be “Woman with Bouquet”. (70-35274)

The Jolly Little Trolley by Heaven and Earth
Heaven and Earth Designs was created by Michele Sayetta and her husband Bob. They previously owned a hand dyed fabric shop, but decided to switch to cross stitch patterns. They chart the artwork of many talented designers into counted cross stitch designs. Their designs are not computer generated. They graph each image using engineering software Their designs are very intricate. They suggest you stitch them on 25 count Lugana or Dublin over one to preserve the detail. Their designs have a “fantasy” feel to them.

Love Quilts, Cross Stitch for Charity!
Stitch for Charity
Love Quilts. Love Quilts is an organization that makes hand made quilts using counted cross stitch squares for children with life long or life threatening illnesses. DMC Light Effects
DMC Light Effects are made in France. It is a 6 ply metallic floss. You can use it just like DMC’s standard Mouline’ Stranded floss (their main brand of floss). You can separate the strands and use 2 for a typical cross stitch, or more strands depending on your needs. DMC suggests Light Effects: DMC Light Effects is a line of 36 glistening specialty threads that will add reflective qualities to any needlework or craft project. The gorgeous shades include Precious Metals, Jewels, Antiques, and Pearlescent shades, plus trendy Fluorescents and Glow-in-the-Dark tones.

Cross Stitch patterns by Mystic stitch, new
There are several new counted cross stitch patterns out Mystic Stitch. They suggest any count of Aida to stitch their patterns on. The smaller the count, like 18 or 20, the better to preserve the detail of the patterns.
