Another Surprise from Family

I feel like a Charlie Brown Christmas tree. Every step I take a bunch of hair falls off. I got my head coverings and scarves in the mail today. They all seem to fit and are comfortable. So, I am ready for all of my hair to go any time. I told my son I might shave it tonight. He said, “I wouldn’t.” I said, “Why?” He said, “I would wait.” I don’t think he’s ready to see his bald mom.

I received some more cancer care packages from family yesterday. I feel so spoiled. It has been such a nice gesture. Thank you Anna and Julie. You are both dear to me and you thoughtfulness has made me feel loved.

I have to go for a blood test tomorrow in anticipation of chemo Thursday. Round two starts soon.
