Shopping for Wigs and Scarves

We went to Portland today to a little shop that carries wigs, head coverings and prosthetic breasts for cancer patients.   I got a few scarves for my head and sleeping hats.  I also tried on a wig.  What a trip.  Flash back to the 70′s when my Mom used to wear a wig.  ha  Those of you who were born in the 60′s know what I am talking about.  It was all the rage in the 70′s.  The wig was pretty close to my natural hair color and it didn’t look too fake.  I will go back and buy it in a few weeks when my hair starts to fall out after I start chemo.

My 7 year old daughter wants a wig now.  ha ha
