Sugar Maple
Fabrics from Canada. These are some truly amazing hand dyed
fabrics from the heart of Ontario Canada in Sugar Maple country.
Each piece is hand dyed and no two pieces are alike. These are
great fabrics to use when you are looking for a unique look to your
latest project. I just bought one myself and I can't wait to get
started on it!!!
Some of our newest patterns are from a designer called
Cross
Stitch Collectibles. These are some quality patterns of
paintings by artists like DaVinci, Piccaso, Renoir, etc. They are
just gorgeous.
We have also recently added
Heaven
and Earth Designs to our site. These are also very classy
patterns by current artists with some very unique designs.
The latest pattern by Lavender and Lace is
Dance of the Roses. It is a gorgeous pattern with lots of Fall

What is DMC 284Z?
Many of the older Lavender and Lace designs call for
a thread labeled DMC 284Z. This thread is no longer widely
available, so the suggested substitute for DMC 284Z is either a
size #4 or #8
Kreinik
braid in the color 002 or 002HL (high luster).
These are both gold, metallic braids from Kreinik.

What is Julie working on?
I am currently working
on a design by Lavender and Lace called "The Bride" (LL 9) for my
sister. I a m doing my project on a 28 count Lambswool Jobelan from
Wichelt. Jobelan is a very soft, luxurious fabric. I recently
finished a design by Mirabilia called "A Midsummer Night's Fairy".
The transparent wings made with blending filaments and #4 braids
from Kreinik give the fairy a special effect. |
