Great Gift for a Cross
Stitcher for Easter
Great gift idea for the cross stitcher in your
life. GIFT CERTIFICATES from Julie's X Stitch. If you
don't know what she would like, let her decide for herself with a gift
certificate.
How did you Learn to
Cross Stitch?
When I was about 19, my Grandmother bought me a cross
stitch kit and taught me how to cross stitch. She was the
quintessential grandmother who baked fresh bread, made her own jam and
sewed. My grandmother is almost 95 years old now and I have many
great memories from when I was younger, but the one thing I will always
remember is when she taught me how to cross stitch. Who
taught you to cross stitch? Send me an e-mail and tell me about
it. Maybe I will use your story in a future newsletter.
Cross Stitch Tip
How to avoid getting creases in your fabric that you
cannot get out. When you are not stitching, always remove your
project from the hoop, frame, or Q-snap. Roll it and store it in a
plastic bag to keep creases from setting and stains from forming on your
fabric.
