great little magazine for cross stitch lovers. They offer several
quality patterns in each issue, information on the newest products in

New Cross Stitch Video Tips
at Julie's X Stitch
We have recently created
several videos with
some basic cross stitch tips and plan to create more. You can
find them in our cross stitch tips section, on our Facebook page and on
my Blog. Some videos we have include all the
basic stitches
you will need to know to cross stitch, including a full x stitch, half x
stitch, 1/4th and 3/4th x stitches. We also have a great video
about cuts
of fabric, like fat quarter, half and full yard.
New from Nora Corbett
Nora Corbett has released a new design
in her Muse collection called
Caprice. The design calls for
Pink Sand Linen or Aida in the Hand Picked by Nora line of fabrics.

The latest pattern by Mirabilia is an
addition to her fairy for the month series. It has an Oriental
flair to it. "September
Sapphire Fairy" was released this month. The deep blue
sash she is wearing is done with a silk floss by Caron Collection.

We encourage all of our customers to
purchase shipping insurance to cover yourselves in the event that your
package is lost, or damaged in the shipping process. We have had
an amazing track record with our chosen method of shipping, but on
occasion, packages do get lost. It is NOT our responsibility to

I am always on the hunt for new cross stitch and

Cross Stitch patterns under $10
In these challenging economic times, we
wanted to point out how inexpensive a hobby cross stitch can be if you
can't afford to spend a lot. There are 1000's of patterns
available for under $10 that will provide hours of entertainment.
There are also some great kits to be had under $15, which is an even
better deal. Some great designers of patterns that are quite
reasonable are

Stoney
Creek,
Bobby
G. Designs, and many more.
Mill
Hill has some wonderful kits available for a very reasonable price.
So, you don't have to spend a bundle to enjoy cross stitch.

What is Julie working on?
I have had the stitching bug this year.
I have been completing about one cross stitch pattern
every 8 weeks. Some of the most recent cross stitch patterns I
have been working on are "Titania
Queen of the Fairies" by Mirabilia.
"Cinderella" by Mirabilia,
"My Lady's Garden" by Mirabilia, and I just started
"Stargazer" by Mirabilia. I am altering the Stargazer design
a bit by using a hand dyed silk floss by
Caron called Dark Shadows for a the bodice of the dress. Here
is a picture of "Circle of Friends" by Mirabilia that I am working on. I
am almost all done with it. Just a few more beads to attach.
