DMC Pearl Cotton floss is is a highly mercerized, non-divisible, lustrous 100% cotton thread. It is soft and silky and does not fluff or kink when you are stitching. It is also colorfast. Size 5 pearl cotton is available in 5 colors (49 yard ball). Size 8 comes in 206 solid and 18 variegated colors (87 yard ball), and size 12 comes in 40 colors (131 yard ball). The floss is made in France. We keep the size 12 pearl cotton IN STOCK. The size 5 and 8 Pearl Cotton balls takes 2-3 weeks to ship. Pearl cotton is used for Hardanger and other needlework projects.
