The fabrics in this section are a special order from Picture this Plus. The fabrics are made to order so each one is unique. They generally take 3-5 weeks to come in, and they are worth the wait. I have used several hand dyed fabrics for projects and they really bring your cross stitch designs to life. Picture this Plus uses quality Zweigart fabrics for their raw material and dye it many unique colors. The fabrics are soft, washable and colorfast with permanent color. They surge the edges of the fabric to prevent fraying. Crystal fabric is made using opalescent fabrics, which have a sparkly thread woven through out the fabric that give it a special glow. Opalescent fabricsare my favorite. Here is an example of a design done on a Crystal Fabric. They are especially nice for a night sky effect, water or snow background for your designs. Be aware that the pictures shown of the color choices are dyed on linen fabric, which takes on dye well. Linens will be darker than Aida or evenweaves. However, all the colors are beautiful in all fabrics. If you are in search of a really dark fabric however, linen would be your best choice.
