Aida Fabric

Aida is called "the cross stitch fabric".   It was originally made specifically for cross stitch by the company  Zweigart in 1890.  It is one of the most popular cross stitch fabrics and offers many color choices and different counts of fabric for you to choose from.  Most people learn to cross stitch using an Aida fabric.  Aida fabric is made from 100% cotton.   Aida comes in 6, 8, 11, 14, 16,  18, and 20 counts.  14 count has the most color choices and is the most popular count of Aida.   I keep all available Aida fabrics IN STOCK.  6 and 8 count Aida is often referred to as Herta fabric.  Herta is great for teaching kids or beginners to stitch.
