Lugana fabric

Lugana fabric is made from  a blend of 52% cotton and 48% rayon.  It comes in 25, 28 and 32 counts, with 25 having the most color choices.  It is a nice, heavy fabric that is relatively inexpensive.  It drapes nicely and is very versatile.   Lugana fabric was formerly called Brittney fabric.  I prefer to use 25 count Lugana fabric for all of my Hardanger projects.  I love the way the floss glides through the fabric and the heavy feel of the fabric.  Lugana is an elegant fabric for table linens, samplers, pillows, and other decorative accessories.  Lugana is an evenweave fabric.
