Candlelight by John Clayton

This design is called Candlelight by John Clayton of Heritage Crafts. I stitched this design because it looks so much like my daughter. It hangs on her bedroom wall. I chose 28 count Fairy Dust Jobelan fabric for this project because she gazes wistfully at a burning candle. In my mind, I see yellow reflecting on the wall from the candle light.

Circle of Friends by Mirabilia

I stitched Circle of Friends on 28 count Coffee Bean Linen. It's a great color! The trio of ladies wear dressed with muted spring colors while they dance under a wreath of flowers.

The Petal Fairy by Mirabilia

The Petal Fairy is a beautiful pattern and easy to stitch. There is not a whole lot of beading to this project, so that makes it a quickie. I stitched her on Waterlily 28 count Jobelan fabric. I chose Waterlily Green because I imagine her sitting in her garden of flowers surrounded by green. The pattern calls for DMC floss, and Mill Hill beads.

Guinevere by Nimue

I think this is one of my all time favorite projects. Guinevere is an incredible pattern by Nimue. The directions are a bit muddled, but as an experience cross stitcher, it has not been a problem. I am stitching the project on a new fabric color called Peach Rose, in 28 count Lugana (Brittany). I chose this color because I imagined her sitting in a room with a blazing fire. The color is what I envisioned the wall behind her would look like with the reflection of the fire.
